About Us

Stephen trained with Willy Sidorak, the Dutch horseman, for 3 and a half years full-time, 7 days a week, 12 hours a day in all aspects of horsemanship including dentistry, husbandry, riding, starting/backing young horses, re-training remedial horses and particularly Willy's own unique Muscle Therapy which is one of the most effective ways of resolving ongoing lameness and poor performance problems in horses. Stephen's vision is to see Willy's diagnostic and therapeutic methods accepted as standard practice when dealing with horse locomotion issues, poor performance and bad behaviour often linked directly or indirectly to pain but also often a simply a matter of good horse management.

Julie is Samsara's unique Muscle Therapy's biggest fan having witnessed many horses go through their healing journey whilst Steve was training and since returning to the UK.  She talks to people about this therapy and is keen for this to become more known about so that many more young written-off horses can be given their working lives back.   She is a happy hacker with Bootleg Baloo her cob, and has a background in care home management as well having two science degrees, the first in Biochemistry and Physiology from The University of London and the second, an MSc. in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from Oxford University obtained at the age of 35.  She is a trained life-coach having trained with Tony and Nicki Vee, two of the most respected life coaches in the world.   Julie will be following an MSc. in Equine Science at Royal Dick starting in September of this year.

"If I am not for myself, who will be for me? And when I am for myself, what am 'I'? And if not now, when?" A quote attributed to the great Rabbi, Hiilel the Elder
